New iPad: You don't need PS3/XBox anymore

Apple once again has set markets standard this March 7th with the new iPad. While the competitors try to build a close competing device, there sits Apple sitting in its Coupertino headquarters setting next year's goals for the competitors while they try to complete this year's goals.

Getting my post started, why should you not buy a PS3 or XBox360 console:

Same processing power:
Now the new iPad has an A5X dual core chip backed up with quad-core graphics which (Apple says) are 4x better than the Tegra 3.
It is far more than the performance needed.

Higher resolution than your HD TV: The new iPad comes with a RETINA display with a whooping resolution of 2048x1536. That is more than any HD TV. So, even the display is far more than needed.

All this is way higher than the quality and performance expected from a console.

Let us consider that the new iPad is at par with PS3/XBox360.

More reasons to drop your plans of buying a console:

Portability:
I like travelling. Most of us do. Going to an alienland and with creatures speaking some "#&*&*^%&^" language. It is fun. Then in the lonely bed of the Hotel Alieumph, what would you if you start missing Call Of Duty. Isn't it better to have an iPad than sitting at the side of the bed, moaning and missing your console!

You can Jailbreak your iPad:
Yeah boy! I see that grim smile on your face trying to save all the money you owe to the iPad developers and playing all the finest games for FREE.

You won't miss your console controller(if you love it a lot):
A bluetooth controller for the iPad is in the making guys.

iPad games are cheap:
By cheap, I mean dirt cheap. Average PS3 game costs between $30 to $50, while an equivalent iPad game costs between $0-$10(max.). So the minimum saving per game is $20. Assuming an average chap shops for  10 games, he saves $200-$500 (assuming he didn't jailbreak it :) ). That is the cost of another new iPad. With the money saved, you could donate me an iPad 1 or iPad 2 or the new iPad, any of the device shall be accepted.

Thanks and regards,
Saving-you-money-and-making-you-efficient guy.
